Join us to celebrate the equinox after a hard-earned meal!
Our workday will consist of both a learning opportunity on how to identify, manage, and remove invasive species and the removal process itself to apply what you learned. During the first half of the day, we'll work together to remove invasive plant species from the Long Branch campus, learning about their impacts on local ecosystems and how to manage them effectively. This educational workday is a great opportunity to deepen your connection with the land while supporting ecological balance.
Afterward, we'll gather for a community potluck to celebrate the spring equinox—a time of renewal, growth, and balance. Bring a dish to share and enjoy connecting with others as we mark the season's arrival with good food and great company.
Whether you're an avid gardener, an environmental enthusiast, or simply looking to welcome spring in a meaningful way, this event is for you!
