Join Us for a Hands-On Cob Oven Making Workshop!
Celebrate the summer solstice with us on June 21st as we come together to build a community cob oven! This hands-on workshop at Long Branch Environmental Education Center will teach participants the fundamentals of natural building while creating a lasting resource for shared meals and future gatherings.
What to Expect:
Cob ovens are an ancient, sustainable way to cook using natural materials like clay, sand, and straw. During this workshop, you’ll learn the essential techniques of cob construction, including mixing, shaping, and sculpting, while working alongside others in a fun and interactive environment. Whether you're a beginner or experienced in natural building, this event is open to all skill levels!
